Holt Park library opening hours consultation

July 21st, 2014 · No Comments · Community News

The library service needs to look at how things could be done differently to provide an even more efficient service to our customers.

A library by library analysis has enabled the service to identify for each when its quietest hours are. We believe that not opening during the quietest times will provide significant savings whilst minimising the impact on customers – approximately 97.7% of book borrowers and computer users have used their own library or another library at times which would not be affected by this review.

However, we appreciate that not every use of the library is recorded, and some customers may feel that their use of the library has not been considered. We have prepared some options for revised opening times and before any changes are made we need to know which of these options would suit you best.

Once completed please return your comment card to us by 29th August at your local library or send by FREEPOST to:
Library Headquarters (Hours), Freepost RRBR-HXKK-ZHRB; 1 Bowcliffe Road Hunslet Leeds LS10 1HB

Alternatively you can e-mail details of your preferred option for opening hours to: enquiry.express@leeds.gov.uk using the following format:

1. Library Name
2. Preferred option
3. Your postcode (optional, but providing your postcode will help us know if we’ve reached all the communities in Leeds)
4. Any other comments you want to make
