Last chance to oppose the Trolleybus and save Woodhouse Moor – ACT NOW

November 9th, 2013 · No Comments · Community News

Woodhouse Moor

If you oppose the Leeds Trolley Bus today is the last day in which you can officially object.

If you don’t want to see three areas of Woodhouse Moor destroyed, Monument Moor, part of Little Moor and all of the broad grass verge and avenue of trees on the south side of Woodhouse Lane we urge you to send an email today to Leeds City Council Legal Services department objecting to the proposal on the grounds that (1) All of the park is well used and (2) It would be wrong to go ahead with the proposed appropriation in advanced of the public inquiry

If the council and Metro are successful in their appropriation of Woodhouse Moor, the people of Leeds would no longer be able to complain at the public inquire that the trolleybus route affects the park as the parts of the park affected would no longer be ‘park’

Dear Sir/Madame

With regards to reference: A76/DO/094793

I am writing to object to the Leeds trolley bus and specifically to the appropriation of Woodhouse Moor.

I wish to let you know that all of Woodhouse Moor is well used by a wide and diverse range of Leeds residents. I therefore feel it would be wrong to go ahead with the proposed appropriation in advance of the public inquiry.
