A high rate of crime took place in Holt Park last week.

West Yorkshire Police were called to attend the crime scenes of several thefts in the Holt Park area.

On Holtdale Fold a house was broken into through an insecure window and property was stolen. Also two thefts involving cars took place. A car was stolen from Otley Road and on Holtdale Drive a vehicle had its window smashed and property stolen from inside.

A final incident took place in the ASDA car park where a handbag was snatched from the seat of a car. Police are urging users of the car park to be more vigilant as in July a car was stolen as the owner accessed the recycling containers.

The suspect of the latest incident has been identified and the police are actively seeking his arrest.

The local Neighbourhood Police Team (NPT) who can often be seen patrolling the streets of Holt Park are attempting to find the culprits responsible and continue to keep crime down in the area.
