Vehicle Crime: 1 Reported
A vehicle was taken with out the owners consent on Holtdale Approach, 2 arrests have been made which again is excellent.

Asda have reported 1 shop lifter
1 reported lead theft on Holtdale Close
Assault on Holtdale Drive , 1 arrest made

These figures are a great improvement on the previous week and reflect a return to normal life on and around the estate. We together with the community are working hard to improve the quality of life for Holt Park residents, the recent figures have been very encouraging and our aim is to improve still further, if you see/witness or are suffering anti social behaviour please let us know, if you can get names and descriptions this would assist us to deal with the incident quickly and efficiently.

ASB Section / PACT Priority Update
There is still some graffiti at the rear of Asda, this has been reported and is due for removal. In general the youths on the estate have been well behaved and all have responded positively when spoken too. If you are one of the youths on the estate reading this that is aware of others involved in drugs or some other type of illegal activity then please let us know. If you have read any of the blogs of addicts who are struggling to over come an addiction they can be quiet chilling , as with smoking once you have started it can be very hard to stop, there is nothing glamorous about been addicted, do them a favour and call us.

Police in North West Leeds have issued an appeal for householders to get their uPVC door locks checked and replaced with bump and snap secure Euro Cylinder locks.

This follows an increase in break-ins where vulnerable and cheap Euro Profile locks have been forced. Burglars use a simple tool to smash the lock in a technique well known among criminals.

Around one-in-four burglaries in West Yorkshire involves the Euro Profile locks, which are widely used in uPVC doors, particularly older ones.
