Crime:
There have been 2 reports of burglary in the last week, these have occurred on Holt Park Crescent where a euro profile lock was snapped to gain entry, and jewellery stolen. Holt Farm Close, again entry gained by snapping the euro profile lock and electrical items stolen. There has been 1 report of vehicle crime where an open flat back lorry on Holt Farm Close had power
tools stolen.

We are calling out to the community asking for extra vigilance and to phone in anything suspicious or out of the ordinary. We have increased patrols and will continue to closely monitor the area. Euro Profile Locks are the biggest risk to your home security, around one-in-four burglaries in West Yorkshire involves the snapping of Euro Profile locks, which are widely used in uPVC doors, the majority of burglaries in the Holt Park area are through these locks, I can not stress enough the importance of having your locks checked and the barrels replacing if you are able.
