Stuck for something to do this bank holiday? Rely on public transport? Why not visit the Yorkshire Dales?
Don’t worry about how to get there. Bus service 820 runs from the Holt Park area right into the heart of the Yorkshire countryside.
For those with a bit more get up and go the bus also goes into Lightwater Valley Theme Park. A discounted ticket is available for the park with presentation of your bus ticket.
Entry into Fountains Abbey, also along the bus route, is half price with a valid bus ticket.

The 820 can be caught from outside Divino’s Italian Restaurant in Adel further up from the Natwest bank. (Click here to see bus stop location)
There is only one service at 9.50 am on both Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday.

Service 820 has now finished for the 2010 season, but DalesBus service 870 runs to Ilkley, continuing to Bolton Abbey, Grassington, Kettlewell and Buckden every Sunday (also Bank Holidays 27th and 28th December and 3rd January).
The bus leaves from the bus stop outside Divino’s at 9.40am.
