Holt Park Crime Report from Your Local NPT
Week Ending 16/01/2011

January 19th, 2011 · 1 Comment · Uncategorized

Burglary: We have received no reports of burglary in the Holt Park area this week, which is great news.

Vehicle Crime: We have had no reports of vehicle crime this week either.
Anything Else of Note
Two reports have been received RE: lead theft this week. One on Holtdale Gardens and one on Holtdale Road. Unfortunately this type of crime does rear its ugly head periodically and the price of lead remains at an all time high so is very attractive to a would be thief. Please continue to remain vigilant and report anyone you suspect of being involved in this type of crime. Lead is an extremely heavy substance and would probably need two people or some implement such as a shopping trolley or wheelie bin to transport it around the estate. The offender would then have to have some form of transport to trade the lead in at scrap dealers. If there are any leads that you wish us to investigate or follow up please do not hesitate to contact us.

We have received two reports of criminal damage this week, one to Local MP Greg Mulholland’s office door, whereby the glass has been cracked and one on Holt Drive, where a window has been smashed. No one at this present time has been arrested for either offence.

ASB Section / PACT Priority Update
One call was taken from the mall security guards outside the Asda regarding a group of males who were hanging around and refusing to leave. Upon police arrival these males had left the area.

Another call was taken from a concerned resident on Holt Way stating that youths were running through the gardens. Again there was no youths present upon police arrival.

Please share this news with your friends on Facebook and help keep everyone in the local area informed of what is happening in our community.
